Ocean Bound Plastics in Eureka Gloves

Eureka Safety’s entire knitted line (except for high performance Heat gloves) utilizes on average 2% ocean bound plastics. While the percentage is modest, its consistent use across the full knitted range represents a more meaningful volume over time.

This material is sourced from plastic waste collected in coastal areas before it reaches the ocean. After collection, it is cleaned, processed, and spun into polyester fibres, which are then used as part of the yarn in our products.

Founded in 1959, we have long worked with technical fibres and understand the importance of material consistency in demanding environments. Recycled content is therefore used where it is relevant and compatible with the intended performance of the product.
